You and the festival of the Democracy!

 We are amidst the general elections of world's biggest democracy( not the greatest though)! I hope each one of us has a sense we are the protagonist to this great festival of democracy! However, we would be protagonist in real sense if we aptly decide:

1) I will vote to the right contestant after analysis , because I want to be part of building a happy and prosperous nation 

2) I won't vote,and encourage others to do the same,because none of the contestant deserve to be in power because of what they have been doing/ not doing. (Well if majority of us decide that this is the way aha aha....,then know that constitution have some remedy to it, and it's better than being ruled by monsters)

3) I will atleast give a chance to a contest based on meritocracy of their promises, deeds and capabilities!

But if we go the other way, and do engage in below mentioned acts of either foolishness or greed, we are worthy of being called true villains (oh! that's ironical that sometimes villains too are protagonists!ha!)

1) I will vote blindly."It's just another day out on a public holiday/ I will vote to whom my friends/family are voting,not understanding the reasons behind " and so on

2) I will not vote and my reason is not justified."who goes out in that heat"/ "I will rather watch a movie"/"I don't care" and so on

Now,you want to decide you want to be a heroic protagonist or villain in the great democratic drama - the choice is completely yours! it's time you know how to get into thinking and analysis mode to make that decision (and yes it's a very important decision of your life!). I am no expert, but I am confident this writeup can stimulate your mind to think further with the foundational thoughts I am presenting to you.

1. Read the Manifesto of the contesting parties

2. Look for substance in manifesto/promises , not fanciness and frivoulessness!

3.Do some basic research on contestants ( you wont vote a criminal/illiterate /exploiter/ bad character/lier/Ghooskhor, right?)

4. Don't vote who plays it on communal appeal (They are Dangerous!)

5. Don't vote who put personal allegations on opposite party ( That's dirty and that's no manners! My dad told me when I was a kid, one who has no manners should not be trusted!lol)

6. Slam the party who promises "Arakshan/Reservation" in education and Jobs.Thas the direct route to ruining a society and Nation! We are not we are supposed to be as a Nation ( a superpower,ofcourse!) because of this ghost called Reservation which saps on meritocracy!

7. Give extra points to contestant/Party which is dedicated to work towards establishing Justice in the Nation! Our's is a nation with one of the worst legal system.Injustice is that one epidemic,that destroys every other good thing in the world.Think about it!

8. Give bonus points to contestant/Party which is dedicated to disrooting corruption! Corruption is a visible monster which we blindly ignore when we commit corruption (ah,I don't!) or loudly curse when we face corruption! Either ways,it destroys! Beware! We really need to de-root it!

9. Because, I am writing here, please vote to party who think beyond "poor people". Yes,we are not poor,but the section of society we belong to, political leaders really don't promise anything for us, don't do anything specially for us, don't really care about us (All I wanna say that,they don't really care about us!) Almost all political leaders are diligently working super hard for poor people. But people us like who pay majority of tax , we are unseen to them while they are in power and also when they want to come to power! The great Indian Irony!

These signs can be seen all around us, and yet, instead of addressing them, we choose to turn a blind eye or even worse, celebrate them. This dangerous trend of celebrating wrong examples is only pushing us closer to the brink of collapse.

One such wrong example that is often celebrated is hailstorms. In many religious texts, hailstorms are considered as a sign of God's wrath upon humanity. These natural disasters can cause immense destruction and loss of life, and yet, people often choose to overlook the warning sign they represent and instead enjoy them as a spectacle. We see videos of people dancing in the rain during a hailstorm or taking selfies with hailstones without realizing the gravity of the situation.

The celebration of hailstorms is just one example of how we have become desensitized to the warnings signs around us. The truth is, the universe is filled with numerous warning signs that indicate humanity's collapse, but we either choose to ignore them or worse, celebrate them.

One of the most significant warning signs of our collapsing society is the depletion of Earth's resources. We have been exploiting our planet's resources at an alarming rate without considering the consequences. Yet, we continue to use single-use plastics and throw them away without a second thought.

Another alarming example is the celebration of fast fashion and consumerism. The textile industry is the second-largest polluter in the world, and our constant need for new, cheap clothes is only exacerbating the problem. Instead of reducing our consumption and supporting sustainable fashion, we continue to indulge in mindless shopping.

The list of warning signs is endless – from the rise of global warming and climate change to the increasing income inequality and political instability. These are all signs that our society is on the brink of collapse, and yet, we choose to ignore them or even worse, celebrate them.

One possible reason for this trend of celebrating wrong examples could be our obsession with instant gratification. We are living in a fast-paced world where everything is at our fingertips, and we have become accustomed to getting what we want immediately. This mentality has led us to ignore the long-term consequences of our actions in favor of immediate pleasure.

Moreover, social media and the internet have also played a significant role in this dangerous trend. So, what can we do to address these warning signs and prevent humanity's collapse? The first step is to become aware and acknowledge that these issues exist. We need to educate ourselves about the consequences of our actions and make conscious choices that benefit not just ourselves but also future generations.

Individual actions may seem small in comparison to the enormity of these problems, but they can have a cumulative impact. A New way to New Year Resolutions !

 As we approach the end of another year, the buzz around making New Year's resolutions is inevitable. We all have been there, setting goals that revolve around losing weight, saving money, reading more books, or trying out new diets. While these resolutions may seem like a good idea at the moment, most of us end up abandoning them by the end of January. So why do we keep falling into this cycle of setting cliché resolutions that ultimately fizzle out?

Perhaps it's time to try something new this year. As the Buddhist concept says, "Discard the shallow, seek the profound." This simple yet powerful statement holds a lot of truth when it comes to setting New Year's resolutions. Instead of focusing on superficial goals, why not delve deeper and set meaningful resolutions that can bring about positive changes in our lives?

When we seek the profound, we automatically attract the shallow. This means that by prioritizing profound goals, we can still achieve the materialistic goals that we often set for ourselves. However, it's essential to understand that true success and happiness come from within and not from external factors.

So how can we apply this Buddhist concept in our New Year's resolutions? The answer lies in having profound goals that are centered on becoming a better human being. These goals can include speaking no lies, disregarding no life, avoiding gossip, harming nobody through thoughts, words, and actions, being proactive and speaking up against wrong in our environment.

In today's fast-paced world, where success is often measured by material possessions and social status, it's easy to get caught up in the rat race. But studies have shown that having profound goals grounded in humanity, virtues, kindness, and betterment of the world can lead to personal success in all fronts.

1. They became blind,mindless in Greed ,Anger,Foolishness

3. They hated themselves,dearly! So they either wanted to be someone else (read,to live someone else's life) or snatch  from someone elses' no matter what (yes even murders are allowed in their what's)

4.They loved their children so very much that they destroyed their lives. So if you have guts to play with,destroy lives of someone elses' child/children,then you too come in this category .

5. Crime was adventure to them,a slight(?) drift from their boring routines! Ah,:-(...) Seems like they got the kick out of it,huh! Kick that ass🤭

6. Life was a game for them! Because they played with others lives,they were actually playing with their own lives! And when you treat a sacred phenomena called life as game,you loose,you get defeated!🤗

7. They were highly cowards! Well, cowardice is the shortest route to defeat,always! History says so,Mythologies says so,philosophies says so,and it's true too! If this convinces you!🧐

Imbalance in one portion causes overall imbalances!

10.They had the heard mentalities! To me,it's a cliche observation! Everywhere I see,I find this categorical mentality  as the Virus which has no vaccine,no debugs and  the reset of the mentalities seems next to impossible,apparantly! So  basically the typical heard mentality says,if someone is doing it ,("it " can be murder,whoa!) I should also do it ( Note that,"I can" is not a so valid statement)😱

11.They (the criminals) wanted to take revenge ( alas,from the righteous!):
The power of the word 'Revenge' lies with the victim,the life that has been wrongfully persecuted and not with the sinners,criminals,deceiters! So the entire concept of basing your course of actions with the revengeful emotions when you are a wrongful party is worth mocking! Well yes,Defeat is your only option!😎

Araghhhhh! This ages old Demonic concept of negative magics seems like the new "in", new "it"!  😱
Gone are the days when people used to refer to morals,values,philosophies,Mythologies,prayers,repentence as solutions to  the problems.The new it thing is "Negative magick". They say,it can be solution to all your problems.But remember,it's a negative spiral valley.Once you step in ,it's a ever downward valley which leads to your total downfall and complete destructions and final deaths.Infact,the preface of negative magicks also says that when doing harm to someone else through negative magicks,the greater harm comes to those who do it,though your targets will be probably met,most probably not,maybe,maybe not,Huh!No guarantees,No warrantys!😛But the people doing negative magicks will definitely be harmed collaterally,with no escape to ugly disastorous end!

 The real diversity!

We all celebrate diversity in every form! Diversity is nothing extraordinary,it's uniqueness which each individual has to offer.Though the Org. have strategies to attract diversity of talent in every form, but it's the merit,in other terms diversity of knowledge and experiences which which wins the job. The real diversity every org is chasing is this- diversity of thought, perspectives and experiences in different physical forms which each individual brings to table and helps the businesses thrive!

There are diversity factors which we don't choose,but we are born with or brought up with.But we are free to acquire as much diversity of experiences and knowledge as we can!I am especially talking about the knowledge part,and yes with the advanded technology a major bit of knowledge gaining is literally free and easily accessible! In my quench to gain knowledge and enhance my diversity quotient I discovered many portals offering great courses and certification free of cost! For the ones who are thinking of it's validity, sometimes all that really matter is knowledge!

The Natio(null) Sport...!!

This ain't cricket…no it isn't soccer too. Hockey, are you kidding me..?? Basketball, No ways! Wondering what I am talking about? It’s the sport the whole nation is zapped into. It attracts the highest TRPs if aired on television, the highest live audience if it happens to be in your vicinity, it unites the group like nothing else does. For some its bread and butter, for many it’s passion and for most it’s dirty entertainment (filthy lots..).No prize for guessing, but if you guess then you really is in sync with what’s happening around you.

I am talking about phenomena called “Hate speech” which looks the trendiest these days. You switch on television or peep into dailies you will see numerous instances of politicians defaming the other sides. There is no code of conduct for the speeches of our national leaders. They will go to any extent, deep into each other’s personal lives to bring malice to the opposite side. Are they our national heroes? Certainly not! No wonder, I do not come across any youth citing any contemporary politicians as their ideals. If I base my write-up only on the bad examples which our politicians are setting then I would be blamed of throwing up a hypocritical view. We cannot just blame our leaders/bureaucrats for this existing mud in our society. I feel at an individual level, common man is also engrossed deeply in this sport called “Hate speech”. Whereas for leaders, it fetch them bread and butter when they put down the other side, for common man, it’s mostly a source of entertainment or an invisible  tool sorts which they feel will help them defeat those whom they don’t go along well with.

I am not going to write on the ways the people are using this tool to create disharmony, distrust and disrespect in the environment. I am sure each individual at some point of time in life have used “hate speech” against someone for x set of reasons, and I bet, we have our own reasons and perspectives to support our bigoted action as a fair and just one! Let’s not get into it. Let’s try understanding how we can combat against this destructive gesture.

And the only way to bring this to halt is to understand that each and every life is respect worthy. There is certain elegance in being dignified and true dignity comes when we respect each and every life in our environment. If we start believing in the dignity of each and every life and understand that each life is worthy of and have equal rights to exist in this world, half the battle would be won. On a lighter note, you can find out your own reasons to stay away from this self-destructive sport. So when I am writing this piece, I am not saying that I am a saint who has never indulged in hate speech, but at a very early age, I could discover a very interesting mechanism working in my body (thanks to my Mom!) where I found popping of pimples in my face whenever I indulged in hate speech. And like any other teenager would have taken it up, to have a flawless skin throughout my life, I determined not to engage in this act ever (with few exceptions here and there…phew..;-)..)!!! So without waiting a moment find out your reasons to be away from this spo(r)t….!!
